TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: August 15, 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Leading Edge Awards, Inc. website and your interactions with services offered through the website.
By accessing or using this website, submitting a quote request, uploading artwork, or using the website to make a payment, you agree to these Terms.
ABOUT LEADING EDGE AWARDS
Leading Edge Awards provides custom awards and promotional products, including custom medals and other custom products displayed or described on this website.
Many products require individual quoting, artwork review, proof approval, and project-specific specifications.
WEBSITE INFORMATION
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate information on this website.
However, product descriptions, images, examples, options, availability, pricing, production methods, specifications, and other content may change without notice.
Images of previous work are provided as examples and may not represent every available option.
QUOTES
A request submitted through this website is a request for information or pricing and does not constitute an accepted order.
Quotes may depend on factors including:
-
Quantity
-
Product size
-
Artwork
-
Number of colors
-
2D or 3D design
-
Finish
-
Ribbon or accessory requirements
-
Production method
-
Shipping requirements
-
Deadline
-
Other project specifications
A quote may be revised if specifications change or if information supplied during the original quote request was incomplete or inaccurate.
CUSTOM ORDERS
Most custom products are produced specifically for the customer.
An order is not considered final until applicable specifications, pricing, artwork, proofs, and other required details have been approved and any required payment arrangements have been completed.
ARTWORK AND CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED MATERIALS
Customers may provide artwork, logos, trademarks, photographs, illustrations, sketches, text, or other materials for use in a custom project.
By submitting materials, you represent and warrant that:
-
You own the materials or have authorization to use them;
-
You have the right to authorize Leading Edge Awards and its vendors to reproduce them for your project; and
-
Their requested use does not knowingly violate the rights of another person or organization.
Leading Edge Awards may decline to reproduce material when there is a reasonable concern regarding ownership, authorization, legality, or appropriateness.
Customers are responsible for reviewing spelling, dates, names, logos, colors, and other customer-provided content.
DESIGN PROOFS AND APPROVAL
For custom projects requiring a proof, a digital proof may be provided before production.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the proof carefully.
Approval of a proof indicates acceptance of the design shown, including applicable:
-
Text
-
Layout
-
Artwork
-
Dimensions
-
Colors
-
Shapes
-
Finishes
-
Design elements
Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may not be possible and may result in additional charges or production delays.
COLOR AND PRODUCT VARIATIONS
Colors displayed on screens may differ from colors in finished physical products because of monitor settings, materials, manufacturing processes, lighting, and other factors.
Minor variations may occur between production runs or individual pieces.
Photographs and digital renderings should therefore be considered representations rather than guarantees of exact physical appearance.
PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY
Production and delivery times depend on the product, quantity, artwork approval, manufacturing requirements, shipping method, and other factors.
Any estimated completion or delivery date should be treated as an estimate unless Leading Edge Awards expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Customers with a firm event date should provide that date before placing an order.
Leading Edge Awards is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including carrier delays, manufacturing disruptions, weather, natural disasters, labor interruptions, customs issues, supplier delays, or similar events.
PRICING
Prices and quotes may change before an order is accepted.
Unless otherwise stated, pricing is based on the specifications supplied at the time the quote is prepared.
Changes in quantity, dimensions, artwork, color, finish, ribbon, shipping, or other specifications may change the final price.
PAYMENTS
Payments may be made through methods made available by Leading Edge Awards.
The website may include a payment page allowing customers to pay existing invoices.
Entering an invoice number and payment amount does not modify the underlying invoice, order, or payment obligation.
Customers are responsible for entering accurate payment information.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Leading Edge Awards works with customers to establish a required delivery date before an order is placed.
If we determine that we cannot reasonably meet the customer’s required date, we will notify the customer before the order is placed so the customer can decide whether to proceed.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate event dates, delivery requirements, shipping information, artwork approvals, and other information needed to keep the project on schedule.
Production and delivery schedules may depend on timely customer responses and proof approvals.
Federal rules for internet and telephone merchandise orders generally require sellers to have a reasonable basis for the shipping time they promise and to address delays appropriately if the promised timeframe cannot be met.
CUSTOM PRODUCTS & CANCELLATIONS
Leading Edge Awards specializes in custom-made products created specifically for each customer.
Because these products are unique and produced according to approved customer specifications, orders cannot be canceled once production has started.
Customers should carefully review all order details and proofs before providing final approval.
Once an approved custom order enters production, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.
Florida’s retail refund statute specifically excludes custom-made and customer-altered goods from its general retail refund-policy requirements.
PROOF APPROVAL
For custom orders, customers will receive a proof for review before production begins.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing the proof, including:
-
Artwork
-
Spelling
-
Names
-
Dates
-
Colors
-
Layout
-
Size
-
Shape
-
Design details
-
Other customer-requested specifications
Customers may request changes before approving the proof.
Production will begin only after the applicable design and order details have been approved.
Approval of the final proof confirms that the customer accepts the design as shown.
PROBLEMS WITH AN ORDER
Customer service is a top priority at Leading Edge Awards.
If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will review the issue and work with you in an effort to determine an appropriate solution.
Because customers review and approve proofs before production, design-related issues that were accurately shown on an approved proof generally will not be considered manufacturing defects.
MANUFACTURING DEFECTS
If an order has a verified problem caused by the manufacturing process, Leading Edge Awards will work with the customer to resolve the issue.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate resolution may include correcting the problem, replacing affected products, or another mutually acceptable solution.
If the manufacturing problem cannot reasonably be corrected and Leading Edge Awards determines that a refund is appropriate, we will work with the customer regarding a refund for the affected order or products.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Because our products are custom-made specifically for each customer, they are generally not eligible for standard returns or refunds simply because the customer changes their mind after production has started.
Refunds are not automatically provided for:
-
Customer-approved artwork or design choices
-
Information shown correctly on an approved proof
-
Customer-provided spelling, names, dates, artwork, or other information
-
Changes requested after production has started
-
A customer deciding that the product is no longer needed after production has begun
If there is a legitimate problem with the completed order, please contact us.
We will review the circumstances and work with you to resolve the issue. If the problem is determined to be the result of the manufacturing process and cannot reasonably be corrected, a refund may be considered.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise indicated, the Leading Edge Awards website and its original content, including text, graphics, layout, logos, and other website materials, are owned by or licensed to Leading Edge Awards and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Customer-owned logos, trademarks, artwork, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Portfolio photographs or examples may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without appropriate authorization.
